Private Circles For Life Thresolds

Intentionally held gatherings for moments that matter

Some moments ask to be marked.

A beginning.
An ending.
A threshold you can feel in your body before you can explain it in words.

Private Circles for Life Thresholds are facilitated gatherings created by request for small groups of women moving through meaningful transitions. These circles offer a pause — a chance to slow down, reflect, and be together with intention.

They are not performative or prescriptive.
They are grounded, thoughtful spaces shaped with care.

pre-wedding celebration event

Before my own wedding in 2022, my best friend and a dear mentor offered to host and facilitate a circle for me.

It was a quiet, intentional gathering — held just before the pace of the wedding week began. I was able to sit in circle with women who have shaped my life, including people who weren’t able to attend our wedding itself since we kept it family-only.

That circle set the tone for everything that followed.

It gave me space to arrive, to reflect, and to feel deeply supported as I crossed a threshold in my life. Years later, I still return to that memory.

Being invited into moments like that — to help hold and honor something meaningful — is one of the reasons I love this work so much.

❋ What These Private Circles Are

Private circles are custom-held gatherings for women who want to honor a transition in a more meaningful way.

These may include moments such as:

  • Pre-wedding or pre-commitment seasons

  • Small group retreats or gatherings

  • Personal or shared transitions that feel significant but hard to name

Rather than celebrating over the moment, these circles invite you to sit with it — to acknowledge what’s changing, what’s being carried forward, and what’s ready to be released.

What a Private Circle Includes

Each private circle is shaped collaboratively and may include:

  • Circle Decoration

  • Grounding arrival practices or gentle movement

  • Guided reflection or writing

  • Optional group sharing

  • A simple closing ritual to mark the transition

  • Movement (such as gentle Pilates, yoga, or breathwork) may be included if it feels supportive to the group.

Participation is always optional. These circles are facilitated spaces for reflection and connection — not therapy or clinical support.

❋ Who These Circles Are For

Private circles are best suited for:

  • Small groups (typically 6–12 women)

  • Those seeking a calm, intentional alternative to traditional celebrations

  • Groups who value presence, depth, and shared experience

No prior experience with circles or movement is required
